Overview
Comtech is a primary member of the consultant team, led by HDR, selected by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) to provide Technical Advisory Services for the Ontario Line Subway Project. The project is a new rapid transit line in the City of Toronto that combines tunnelled and elevated sections of over 15.6 km. The project includes 15 stations and links to the GO Transit and TTC Lines 1 and 2. The route runs from the Science Center Station, connecting with the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line to Exhibition and Ontario Place.
The Ontario Line will improve transit coverage in the City by connecting communities and key destinations, increasing access to economic opportunities for people in the region and supporting Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC). The project is expected to be complete in 2029-2030.
