Overview
Infrastructure Ontario (IO), an agency of the Government of Ontario, has a mandate to support the expansion, modernization and replacement of Ontario’s public assets through partnerships with the public and private sector. Their portfolio consists of over $60 billion of capital programs and projects ranging from transportation such as highways, bridges and transit systems, educational facilities, health care facilities, courthouse/justice facilities, tourism, culture and entertainment facilities. Projects that the Comtech team is supporting IO in the monitoring, control and delivery include:

Our Services
In 2019, Comtech was retained by IO as their first Program Management and Project Controls consultant to support their organization in advancing their Program Management, Project Controls, Quality Management, Scheduling, and Claims Systems. Comtech's Program Management and Project Controls consultant services involve working collaboratively with IO's integrated PMO team in the provision of the following:
- Develop and assist in implementing updated project controls processes, procedures and guidelines for both transaction/procurement and construction phases (e.g., schedule, cost/budget and risk management)
- Assess and evaluate current performance metrics and reporting (both project and capital program dashboards)
- Support Digital Transformation initiatives, peer review and database development including the implementation and administration of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
