Overview

The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) is a non-profit organization that operates and manages Ontario's electricity system. It is responsible for balancing supply and demand in real-time and planning the power system, ensuring the reliability and integrity of the grid. The IESO oversees the electricity market, procures power through various programs and administers energy conservation initiatives.

Comtech provides contract management and audit services to the IESO as a Vendor of Record, assessing commercial risk exposure with energy suppliers and developing mitigation measures. Our expertise helps to establish corrective actions to mitigate commercial risk exposure with energy suppliers. Our team works on the Feed-In Tariff (FIT) Program.
